Pi Lambda Phi Fraternity donates to the March of Dimes annually through different philanthropic events. The March of Dimes is an organization designed to prevent birth defects, premature birth, and infant mortality. The organization conducts research, community services, as well as education to help save babies' lives. The March of Dimes was started in 1938 by President Franklin Roosevelt and has been helping save lives ever since. For more information please visit March of Dimes.

Miss RPI

Pi Lambda Phi holds an annual Miss RPI contest and donates the proceeds to charity. The contest is designed like a Miss America Pagent and contestants compete in various areas such as a talent, swim wear, and a question answering session. The proceeds are donated to the March of Dimes.

Learn to Skate

During the past spring semester, brothers of Pi Lambda Phi have been volunteering their time at the Knickerbacker Ice Arena to teach local elementary school students how to skate. The lessons are on Wednesdays and the lessons are free.
