Welcome to the NYKT chapter of Pi Lambda Phi's website. The chapter is located at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Pi Lambda Phi was founded in 1895 at Yale University. The founding fathers set forth to establish a non-sectarian fraternity in which anyone can join no matter what race or religion. The NYKT chapter here at Rensselaer was founded in 1949 and has upheld these ideals ever since. Our chapter is constantly trying to give back to the community, participate in school activities, and form strong fraternal bonds.
